Come see what makes us so special…

Global Kids Preschool

A hidden gem of a preschool that’s just around the corner from you…

With small class sizes, loving teachers, and flexible options, your child will get the individual attention & care thats so important in these early years. We are inspired by the Reggio Emillia Approach to learning.

Children learn best when they are allowed to follow their interests, explore their passions and investigate what piques their curiousity

That’s why we are a play-based and project-based preschool. Learning is joyful. Exploration is rewarded with discovery! A life-long journey of learning and growing starts here.

I have some questions…

That’s great! Send us your list, check out our FAQs below and then come on over for an in-person tour!

“Every teacher and the director is friendly, loving, and truly invested in the children's education. Every teacher knows every child and their family and the director is easily accessible if we have any questions. The student to teacher ratio is very low and I feel that our son gets plenty of individualized attention.”  ~Tracie

Getting Started

Step 1: Come see us!

Come see what we are all about! You can schedule a tour by emailing our director.

Its also easy and free to join the waitlist. When spots open up in a classroom we contact all waitlist families for that age group and then it’s first-come first-served. So make sure your info stays up-to-date.

Step 2: Cross the T’s and dot the I’s

If we have space available and you have confirmed a start date and schedule with the director…its time to send in your forms!

Step 3: of course there’s an app…

We use Brightwheel for daily reports, invoices and instant messaging. Once you receive your invite please set up your profile and get connected!

We use August Home for our smart-lock entry. Once your profile is set-up you will have easy access to the front entrance.

“Global Kids is amazing and my family is so happy and fortunate we found them! My daughter was at two other schools before this and GPK has been the best and most consistent by far. Tessa is a great director and the teachers are amazing and really care about the kids! Very little teacher turnover which says a lot. They learn a lot but also get to be kids and play.” ~Rebecca

What do the kids learn in a Reggio School?

Reggio kids learn to ask questions, experiment, explore and think critically. Most importantly they learn that learning is fun. We have Developmental Goals for each age group and the teachers incorporate these into the projects the kids are working on.

What does it cost to get started?

We don’t charge any extra fees. The only thing you will ever pay is tuition. Simple.

What do you do for safety?

We are a licensed school with the state of TX. We are subject to annual inspections and compliance. We conduct annual fire and sanitation inspections as well. Our classrooms all have security cameras that store 30 days of data. Our entrance is secured with a smart-lock system that families can open with the bluetooth on their phone. Our teachers are all FBI fingerprint background screened as well as CPR/1st Aid certified.

Do you provide meals?

Lunches and snacks are packed from home. We do not have a kitchen on site.

What ages do you enroll?

We have classrooms for children 6 weeks to 5 years old.

My child doesn’t speak English. Is that ok?

We have a very diverse student and teacher population. Many of our children & staff are bilingual. We think its great that you are maintaining your native language and welcome the chance to be a first introduction to English for your little one.

What’s the difference between Reggio and Montessori?

We have a lot in common with Montessori (child led, natural materials, outdoor learning…) Reggio has more freedom with materials. A water pitcher can be a rocket or a car garage or a dinosaur’s house. Where Montessori is branded and comes with specific training and materials- Reggio adapts to fit the needs of the local culture and community of learners.

“I dropped my baby off this morning and when he woke up and saw the teacher’s face he lit up with the biggest smile and I can not even explain the amazing feeling I felt that he was so happy and felt so loved. They are truly amazing and have made the transition back to work so much easier.” ~Lissette
